Live at the Fairechylde will be another soundtrack option this year, with DJs spinning an upbeat, eclectic mix of music, including classic rock, club mixes, jazz, blues, and pop hits. Throughout Fantasy Faire 2022, Fantasy Faire Radio on will provide the soundtrack for users exploring the Fairelands, with music from blockbuster fantasy films along with a rich variety of world music traditions. The fantasy avatars, clothing, furnishings, gadgets, and exclusive items that will be available for purchase were designed by over 250 of Second Life’s top Fantasy Creators.
Starting April 21, users will be able to enter Fantasy Faire 2022 and treat themselves to shopping, dance and theater performances, auctions, art galleries, a Literary and Film Festival, and more - all in the name of supporting the American Cancer Society. Last year, the benefit was one of the most successful Relay For Life fundraising teams worldwide, ranking in the top 20.
The benefit, which aims to help build a world without cancer, is the largest gathering of fantasy designers, enthusiasts, role-players, and performers in the virtual world of Second Life®.
